Contest:

1. How many times can I enter the contest?
Contest entries are limited to one entry per person, per household, per day.

2. What is a UPC? (Tell Us How You Play Contest)
A UPC is the series of numbers found along the bar code of any Kinder product you purchase. A UPC code must be included with all contest forms (without spaces) when entering any Kinder promotions.

3. Why doesn’t my UPC work? (Tell Us How You Play Contest)
Your code may not work because only specially marked Kinder products are eligible for this contest. Specially marked products include: Kinder Chocolate T1 (1 chocolate bar), Kinder Chocolate T4 (4-pack chocolate bars), Kinder Chocolate T6 (6-pack chocolate bars), Kinder Chocolate T-16 Mini Treats (16-pack mini chocolate bars), Kinder Surprise Singles (1 Kinder Surprise), Kinder Surprise 3-pack (3 eggs). Should you have a specially marked Kinder product, but your code is not working, please contact by clicking on the “Contact Us” section. Select “promotion concerns” from the dropdown menu when submitting your question.

4. What is a Lot Code? (Movie Package)
A Lot Code is a series of eight (8) letters/numbers found on specially marked packages of Kinder® Surprise Eggs. Only the first five (5) letters/numbers need to be entered in the Kinder Family Movie Package contest entry form.

5. Why doesn’t my Lot Code work? (Movie Package)
First, please confirm the Lot Code you entered matches the Lot Code on your specially marked package for Kinder® Surprise Eggs. If you still have trouble, please contact a Ferrero representative by clicking on the “Contact Us” section. Select “promotion concerns” from the dropdown menu when submitting your question and please include the Lot Code.

1. What is “Have you Played TodayTM?”
At Kinder®, we believe that one of the most important things you can do is to participate in playtime with your kids. Not only is it one of life’s simplest pleasures, but playing with your kids creates wonderful memories that they will treasure forever. This website has been created for parents to learn more about play, and get active with their kids during playtime. We encourage you to browse the site for interesting facts and playtime tips.

3. Can we purchase or trade from you? (Toys and Kinder® Surprise Eggs)
Unfortunately, we do not sell direct to the public. Therefore you are unable to order Kinder® Surprise eggs or toys directly from us, on-line or through the mail. The Kinder® Surprise eggs are made in our plant in Argentina, and are imported to Canada.

Nutrition:

1. Is the product considered vegetarian? Does it have any animal bi-products?
There are many types of vegetarians, such as lacto-ovo, vegans, etc. We do have milk in our product so it depends on what kind of vegetarian you are. Other than milk, there is no other animal bi-products used in the Kinder® Surprise Egg ingredients.

2. I have a question for one of your nutrition experts.

3. What is Vanillin? Does this contain alcohol?
Vanillin is an ingredient used in Kinder® Surprise Eggs for flavouring. The vanillin used in our products does not contain alcohol and is considered “natural” in that it is identical to the vanillin found in nature from a chemical aspect and has been extracted from a plant source. If alcohol is used in any product it must be declared on the ingredient.

Kinder® Surprise:

1. Is Kinder® Surprise gluten free?
Yes! We have confirmed with our Product Development Technicians that Kinder® Surprise Eggs is gluten free.

2 Are the Kinder® Surprise Eggs peanut-free?
The Peanut Free seal on Kinder® Surprise® packages indicates our dedication to produce only peanut-free chocolates.

3. Is the product considered vegetarian? Does it have any animal bi-products?
There are many types of vegetarians, such as lacto-ovo, vegans, etc. We do have milk in our product so it depends on what kind of vegetarian you are. Other than milk, there is no other animal bi-products used in the Kinder® Surprise Egg ingredients.

4. Where are the Kinder® Surprise Eggs produced and imported from?
Kinder Surprise and Kinder® Surprise Maxi are manufactured in our plant in Argentina, produced for Canada.

5. Why are Kinder® Surprise Eggs not available to purchase in the United States?
At this time, the FDA has not approved the selling of Kinder® Surprise in the United States. For more information on other Ferrero products sold in the United States, please contact Ferrero USA directly in New Jersey at (732) 764-9300.

6. What is the history of Kinder® Surprise?
Kinder® Surprise was launched in Italy in 1972. It grew very fast by capturing the hearts of Europeans, young and old. Kinder® Surprise was introduced in Canada in 1975. Today, it's available worldwide in many countries.

7. Why did you change the capsule?
Since its launch in Italy in 1974, Kinder® Surprise has continued to bring innovation to its toy development and product design, always keeping in compliance with the highest global safety regulation for toys. Kinder® Surprise, as clearly stated on its packaging, is not meant for children under 3 years old. In order to ensure that young children cannot open a Kinder® Surprise, the plastic capsule was designed to be almost impossible for small children to open. In fact, older children and adults sometimes find it challenging to open it as well.

As such, Kinder® Surprise has introduced a new design to its capsule to allow children over 3 years old to open it easily, while still being as safe for younger children as the previous version.

1. Is Kinder® Chocolate gluten free?

Kinder® Toys:

1. Where do you get your ideas for your toy collection?
Our goal is to create a toy collection that appeals to a wide range of interests. Our mission is to build excitement and the fun of discovering something new. We get our inspiration from around the world, capturing the diversity of cultures, people, places and customs from all parts of the globe and history.

2. How many toys are introduced each year?
Every year we introduce over 80 new toys. Each toy is fun to play with and safe. We like to use a lot of different materials, colours and ideas. This way, each and every Kinder Surprise truly is a "surprise." The toys are grouped into different themes and include: musketeers, mice, scooters, baby firefighters, cars, planes, springs, medieval heads and puzzles, just to name a few.

3. When do the new toys launch each year?
New toys are available in September.

4. Can I order toys from past collections to complete my set?
Toys from past collections are not available through Kinder® Surprise Canada. However, there are many Kinder® Surprise toy traders online, where you may be able to find your missing toy(s). These private web sites are not authorized Kinder® Surprise websites, so we are not responsible for their content, or for trades made.

5. Where do the toys come from?
We gather inspiration for our toys from all over the world. That's why you'll find so many different historical periods, people and cultures portrayed in our toys. The toys are developed and tested with the greatest care so that they are fun, unique and safe. Ever imaginative, always inventive, our Kinder® creative team loves to design new surprises as much as kids enjoy building them.
